Program Description: School Social workers serve as liaisons with the school, students, and their families, and the agencies in the community, to assist in providing the families with what they need to make the student successful in school. The School Social Workers are usually requested by the school's Child Study Team for students experiencing attendance, academic, social and/or emotional problems. School Social Workers also provide crisis intervention and emergency services.
