Child and Adolescent Services

The unit philosophy is to provide a structured and safe environment to children and adolescents who are in a crisis. This program provides an age-specific treatment for children 3 to 12 and adolescents 13 to 17. The program focus is on crisis intervention enabling a shorter length of stay. The program offers family, individual and group-focused treatment that incorporates psychiatric, psychosocial, medical, behavioral, nursing and recreational therapy. Treatment integrates case management services with family, school and agency support systems.

Adult Services

This program is designed for adults 18 years and older who are in an acute crisis. The clinical approach is to quickly intervene through medical management and solution-focused therapy. Participants of the Adult Psychiatric Program follow an intense therapeutic schedule of group, individual and family therapies. Some of the more common problems requiring treatment include severe depression, anxiety, psychotic symptoms and Post Traumatic Stress Disorder.

Geriatric Services

This program provides services to adults predominantly 65 years of age and older. An individualized and caring treatment program is provided to stabilize and treat disturbed behaviors, thoughts and abilities to cope/function. The program provides protection from harm to self or others, medication support and therapy to help facilitate patients' return to their homes or communities, as well as support to families and caregivers.
