Make a Public Records Request

PLEASE NOTE that the Florida Commission on Human Relations is bound to strict confidentiality laws out outlined below:

Public records requests do not have to be made in writing unless the request is for copies of complaints, which have been designated confidential under s. 760.11(12), Florida Statutes (Rule 60Y-2.007(2), F.A.C.). This statute states that complaint materials are confidential and will not be disclosed by the Commission, except to the parties or in the course of a public hearing or proceeding. In order to protect the confidentiality of the parties, the Commission requires that requests for complaint materials be made in writing.
