Directory of 55+ Housing Communities

The following directory of registrations is updated on a weekly basis. Therefore, if you have registered but do not find your registration here, we appreciate your patience.

Housing facilities that have not submitted renewal fees within the 30-day required time frame have been removed from the website. If you have sent your payment within this time frame, please disregard this message and your facility should appear on the website as soon as your payment has been processed.

There are many 55 & older communities in Florida that have failed to register up to this point. We are working aggressively to spread the word about the requirements of the law.

In the meantime, please be aware of two things :

1. The listing of a community on this website does not guarantee that the community is in fact a lawfully constituted 55 & older community under Florida and federal law. FCHR has not independently verified the status, but has relied on the written representation of the community president.
2. If a lawfully constituted 55 & older community under Florida and federal law has not registered with us, this failure does not jeopardize the legal status of a community.
