Commissioners

The Florida Commission on Human Relations consists of 12 members appointed by the Governor. Commissioners are subject to confirmation by the Florida Senate and serve four-year terms.

The members of the Commission must broadly represent various racial, religious, ethnic, social, economic, political and professional groups within the state. At least one member of the Commission must be 60 years of age or older.

The Commission is responsible for carrying out the mission set forth in Chapter 760, Florida Statutes, within the limitations provided by the law.
